This granola is super easy to make and so much better than most store-bought versions. At least you know exactly what’s in it — and you can easily adjust the sweetness to your liking!
Ingredients:
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup pecans
- ¾ cup sweetened shredded coconut
- ¼ cup dark brown sugar
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- ¾ teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 250°F.
In a large bowl, mix together the oats, almonds, pecans, coconut, and brown sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, vegetable oil, and salt.
Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is evenly coated. Spread the mixture onto two cookie sheets in an even layer.
Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15–20 minutes to ensure even toasting. The granola should be golden and fragrant.
Let cool completely before storing.
