My friend in Germany told me about this, and it turns out it might actually be the original version of the famous frappe — also known as Dalgona coffee. It's frothy, decadent, and absolutely delicious.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons granulated instant coffee
- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- Ice
- 2 glasses of milk
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, combine the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water. Using a hand mixer, whip the mixture until it becomes very light in color, thick, and frothy — almost like a soft whipped cream.
Fill a glass with ice and pour in your frothed milk. Spoon the fluffy coffee mixture over the milk.
