
This sauce is a classic. A handful of ingredients, a minute of chopping, and suddenly you have the perfect companion for fresh oysters.
Ingredients (makes about 1/2 cup):
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar or champagne vinegar
- 4 teaspoons finely chopped shallots, rinsed
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons cracked black peppercorns
- Salt, to taste
